"St. Armand’s Circle" A World-Class Shopping & Dining Oasis

When we think of elegant fashions, fine art, and exquisite dining in Sarasota, St. Armand’s Circle comes to mind. All of these, and much more, are afforded to you at “The Circle”. Located between the barrier islands of Lido Key and Longboat Key, St. Armand’s has long been a shopping and dining oasis for visitors from all over the United States and abroad.

Acquired by circus tycoon, John Ringling, in 1917, St. Armand’s Key did not have a bridge connecting it to mainland Sarasota until 1925. Now the John Ringling Bridge transports you to the pedestrian-friendly, tropical paradise that is St. Armand’s Circle.

Shopping on “The Circle” is world-class with specialty shops (Binjara Traders, Décor de France, Ivory Coast), high-end fashion (The Met, Tommy Bahama, White House/Black Market), and fine jewelry (Armel Jewelers, McCarver & Moser). And the dining choices are second to none: Columbia Restaurant, The Crab & Fin, Café L’Europe, Hemingway’s, and Lynches Pub are just a sample of what you’ll find at St. Armand’s.

As you stroll St. Armand’s, be sure to make your way through Circle Park. At the center of “The Circle”, this small, circular park pays tribute to famous circus performers and the circus heritage with “The Ring of Fame”, over 80 bronze plaques circling the park’s outer edge each commemorating a circus great. This beautifully landscaped, palm-lined park is also host to many events including car shows, concerts, and art fairs.

Nick Herron & Kathleen Herron of the Herron Group would be glad to show you any of the properties listed on Sarasota’s Barrier Island of Longboat Key, Lido Key, and Bird Key. Call 941.350.5035.

  1. St.Armands has long been a good place to shop for the general public. It is also a good place to find your favourite restaurant! I know of a certain website which promotes a real estate company. Lot of
    foreclosure homes
are available for sale. These houses can be purchased individually, or in bulk at deep discounts, with an average discount of 60%-80% of the market price.
